ADMISSIONS PROCESS
CONSIDER DISTINCTIVE QUALITIES
Required Reading
Additionally, before beginning the application for admission, we ask that both parents read our Statement of Faith, as well as the following texts on Classical education and University Model® schooling. These readings give a thorough overview of both our philosophy and structure of education, and assist parents in determining if Commission would be the right fit for their family.

Apply to CLA
After prayerfully considering if Commission Leadership Academy is a fit for your family, we invite you to complete a new application for admission for each child planning to apply to CLA. For Levels K-10 a $225 non-refundable fee per student will be collected at the time of application. Rising kindergarten students must turn 5 on or before August 31st to be eligible to apply. Participation in an information session and reading required documents are a prerequisite for moving forward to this step. Parents will be asked to upload documents with test scores and grades for students grade levels above kindergarten, and/or our school will send a request for records to all previous schools attended by your child.

Applying is easy using our CLA Online Application. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms and, if necessary, reprint the supplemental forms.

Enrollment is currently closed for the 2024-2025 school year. We will open enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year in January 2025.
SCHEDULE A PLACEMENT TEST
At Commission Leadership Academy, placement testing is required for incoming students in Levels 1 to 10. Upon receipt of the student's application fee, a link to schedule your child's placement test will be sent separately.
SCHEDULE A FAMILY INTERVIEW
The final step of the admissions process is a family interview, which provides the opportunity for you to have any remaining questions answered, as well as allow the Admissions Committee the chance to get to know you and your family better. The Admissions Committee will consider all components of the admissions process and make a decision regarding your application. You will receive notification of the committee’s decision and instructions to complete the enrollment process if your student is admitted.
