Tracy Hales

Tracy Hales is beginning her 10th year teaching at CLA. She began her career as a Product Manager in pharmaceuticals, but ultimately decided to follow her passion for teaching. While homeschooling her own children, she taught math, science, and history courses in the homeschool community for 15 years. She also worked in the Math Lab at USM teaching and tutoring college algebra through calculus 3. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master in Marketing Research from the University of Georgia, and graduated from Burroughs Wellcome Management Institute, Kennan Flagler School of Business at UNC Chapel Hill. Tracy also served in leadership in children’s ministry for over 20 years. She has been married to her husband Richard for 31 years and they share 2 beautiful children – Leigh and Andrew.  Her family are active members of Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville. Tracy has a deep desire to reach students where they are and help them grow educationally, relationally, and spiritually. She is excited to continue another year at CLA.
